About Penn AI

Our mission is to drive responsible AI innovation while translating groundbreaking research into real-world solutions that benefit society. By leveraging the expertise of our distinguished faculty across engineering, science, business, medicine, law, and the humanities at the University of Pennsylvania, Penn AI fosters strategic collaborations with academia, industry, and policymakers to address pressing challenges in AI. 

The initiative is led by the AI Council, which serves as a strategic advisor on all matters related to AI and Data Science, ensuring that Penn remains at the forefront of AI advancements. 

 

AI Council

The Penn AI Council is a group of six faculty members who cross various disciplines and are leading the effort to map and strengthen Penn’s AI community focused on our core mission of research and education.
