The program will include an outside keynote speaker focusing on monitoring for health and data privacy, short overview talks highlighting research across the five sponsoring centers, presentations about data resources at Penn that support AI research, and oral and poster presentations by Penn faculty and trainees working on collaborative projects between Engineering and Medicine.
Bradley Malin
Bradley Malin, Ph.D., is the Accenture Professor of Biomedical Informatics, Biostatistics, and Computer Science and Vice Chair for Research Affairs in the Department of Biomedical Informatics at the University of Pennsylvania. His research is funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF), National Institutes of Health (NIH), and Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI). His work focuses on developing technologies to enable artificial intelligence and machine learning in the context of organizational, policy, and health information architectures.
